SOPA / PIPA blackout is over - did it help? Time will tell. It's unfortunate that sites like Facebook, Twitter, Bing, Google, Yahoo and other major traffic sites didn't participate. 

In other completely unrelated news, nerdnet's primary www server is now running on FreeBSD 9.0 / Nginx / PHP - we thought we'd try to test out the performance and compare it to your typical LAMP environment. So far, so good...
